Back At It

Well, my hand is pretty well recovered from my surgery last Halloween, and I’m planning this year’s teardrop projects.

First on the list is to troubleshoot and correct the cause of last fall’s electrical fire. Next is to check the wiring on the Subaru to correct whatever caused the fire and completely rewire the tow vehicle end of the trailer charging circuitry.

I also plan to finish insulating the storage lockers and find some solution for insulating or upholstering the door. After several cold nights last season, the interior of the lockers and the inside of the door were wet with condensation in the morning.

This season may see a new top on the side table, especially now that it’s an integral part of my new brewery layout. It has really sturdy, though slightly bent legs and a strong 3/4″ plywood top. But I’m considering replacing the current ridged rubber mat top (it was originally made as a dog grooming table) with a laminate top. Since I don’t know how to apply laminate to table/counter tops, I’m not too sure that this project will see completion unless I can find someone who knows how to do it.

As always, working on the trailer must wait until I finish brewing enough beer to last through construction, since I can’t brew when the trailer is in the garage.
