I stayed close to home today and took a day off to relax. I went into Page to have lunch at a Mexican restaurant that I had noticed on Monday when I was in the wrong time zone and nothing was open. Lunch was excellent. I stopped at Safeway to buy beer on the way back to camp. I drove around the Lake Powell Resort a bit to see if I could get close to the boats for pictures but they make it difficult so I didn’t try very hard.
I grilled a burger for dinner while I waited for sunset so I could take pix of Tower Butte.

Tomorrow I’ll take the Antelope Valley Slot Canyon tour and see how that works out. Since it’s over at noon or shortly thereafter, I’ll have lunch in town and come back and start organizing for moving to Durango on Friday.
Of course I packed the tarp yesterday, today was almost completely calm ;-(
I’m trying to copy my photos to the laptop every evening so there are two copies if anything happens. But…
