Wednesday May 18, 2016 – Loveland CO

I settled into my campground a Boyd Lake State Park on the outskirts of town and went to have lunch at Rock Bottom Brewing, my first time for this large chain. I got to talk to the brewer, but didn’t ask about corporate recipes etc. We did discuss his program for educating the wait staff about the beers they would be serving.

I had a date to meet Matt and family at Henry’s for dinner. I parked in the lot behind the restaurant and noticed that the Crow Hop brewery was just at the end of the parking lot. Not open now, but I decided to come back later.

I had a great time with Matt, Erica, T, and Miss Emma. I had seen T, Miss Emma, and Matt at Erika Meidl’s place last summer, but had never met Matt’s wife Erica. A fine lady with a fine intellect. Good choice Matt!

There is another teardrop in the same loop I’m in at the campground, but when I went down to say hello, there was no one around. I met a Park Ranger who lives and works at the park who has a large, graceful “Mysterydoodle” dog. She says the dog is a cross between a standard Poodle and a mystery. Hence the name. A beautiful dog that moves like a champion show dog.
