I had a great time at the 2017 Shasta Lake Gathering, held at Antlers RV Park and Campground on Shasta Lake. I didn’t hear a final count, but my guess would be that there were 70-80 trailers and about 100 people.
As usual, I brought 10 gallons of DAM Red Ale to enliven the festivities, and for a change, there was beer left over at the end of the event.
This was Lydia McElroy’s final go at organizing the event since she is moving to Tacoma Washington for a new job. Thanks Lydia for the wonderful job and your encouragement and dedication.
I took only a few pictures this year, I was too busy drinking beer and partying with Brian and Sandi, Barbara, Paul, Ted, Rob, and numerous others whose names were forgotten. There are a lot of friends and acquaintances that I see every year at Shasta. It’s always a pleasure catching up with those old friends and making new ones.
As usual, this is about as much fun as I can have with my clothes on!
