An interesting campsite. Located on the top of the hill north of Castro Valley and east of the southern edge of Oakland. No view because the trees screened it, but I could tell which way was Oakland etc. I had a small pull-thru with a picnic table that was down 20 feet below, connected by a steep path. I didn’t use the picnic table at all. I didn’t plan on cooking there so I set up only as necessary for coffee. And I closed the hatch every day when I left camp. I got to see Lynne, Cesar, Jesse, Jessie B, Mike Z, and Edwin. And I had lunch w/ Ron Kantorik at Teske’s Oh, and I had dinner w/ Ken and Dennis in the city. All in all, a busy but rewarding stop.
