Anyone can run a sewing machine, it’s easy until you have the help of three cats ;-)
I finally finished the drapes. I was really tired and proud when I finished the first panel and took it out to the shop for a test fitting. Guess what! One of the velcro ties was in exactly the wrong place ;-(
So, yesterday I took the tie off the drape with the seam ripper, remeasured the correct position, reattached the tie and tested again. Success! So I put the ties on the remaining panel in the same positions and called it “macaroni.” Done.
