Progress on Clearance Lights

I’ve made some progress in rewiring the clearance lights. I drilled a hole behind each light and routed the wire into the cabin, where I’ll wire the clearance light circuit using surface wiring in the cabin. Messy, yes. Ugly, yes, but expedient because as I worked to trace the short circuit between the clearance lights and the right turn indicator light I found more places where the wiring was deteriorating between the walls.

Tomorrow I’ll proceed with connecting the lights to the correct circuit and testing the rest of the road lighting, and if all is well, that phase of this project will be complete.

Given the somewhat ugly nature of the trailer in the first place, I don’t think some surface mounted wiring is going to make much difference! It’s not a Glamper after all!
