More Insulation

When I insulated and upholstered the interior of the teardrop last spring, I didn’t insulate the interior of the storage lockers. The top of the storage lockers is the teardrop roof and each locker has one outside wall.
I didn’t think it’d be a problem until the morning after a particularly cold night in central Oregon last summer when I put on my pants and found them wet. They had been rolled up and laying against the uninsulated aluminum wall all night, just soaking up the condensation ;-(

So during a recent bit of warm weather, I added insulation to the interior of the lockers. The lockers are about 2 feet on an edge, each with a 16″ wide door in front. The diagonal of the door is too small to admit a full 24″ wide piece, so instead of four pieces to glue, I had eight.

It seemed a bit of a pain to have to use two pieces for the top of each locker, but it turned out to be for the better because the curve of the roof would have made good attachment impossible.

A couple of hours work and there should be no more wet clothes due to condensation.
