I didn’t like the carpet in the trailer, it’s impossible to clean without a vacuum cleaner. I don’t like taking it out, either. It’s glued down with carpenter’s glue or??? and it’s a bear to remove. I’m having to use an oscillating multi-tool scraper to pry it away from the linoleum beneath.
I’m going to have to use the same technique to remove the old linoleum beneath it also. There’s just not a lot of sense in gluing another layer of flooring over the 40+ year old stuff!
I’m not looking forward to this part of the project.
